About our Summits and Events              

The Business Architecture Guild® was formed in September, 2010 and opened to membership in  August, 2011. In early 2012, Object Management Group® (OMG®), a well-respected, international, open membership, not-for-profit technology standards consortium, offered to co-sponsor our first Business Architecture Innovation Summit in Reston, Virginia - just outside of Washington, D.C.  We have returned to Reston every year since. Our Summits have expanded to a 2-day Summit and a 3rd day for interactive reference model workshops. For Summit attendees new to business architecture, one of our Guild Accredited Training Partners® offers a free 1/2 day primer prior to the Summit. With Open Group, we co-hosted a Business Architecture Day with the Open Group®. With OMG again, we co-sponsored the Business Architecture Master Series. We've traveled to many locations for these events including Canada, Europe and Australia. We issue a call for abstracts for each event and a dedicated team of Guild volunteers builds out the agenda. We've attracted presenters from multiple industries and locations around the world. We are most proud of the attendees we attract. Their enthusiasm and passion for learning are what makes our events so successful.

A few important facts:

  • Our events are open to the public.
  • The Guild receives no revenue for these events.
  • Guild members receive a discount when registering for these events.
  • Certified Business Architect (CBA)®s earn CEUs for attending.
