CBA® Program

 
 

Business architecture certification provides a wide range of benefits for the field, for businesses who benefit from the practice and for the individual practitioner. The business architecture discipline is practiced and leveraged worldwide across a wide range of industries and organizations. The CBA® program furthers the advancement of the business architecture profession by formalizing the yardstick for professional competencies based on a defined framework and well-articulated set of practices.

The Business Architecture Guild offers a certification program that measures a business architect’s competencies and confers the designation of Certified Business Architect (CBA)® to those individuals who demonstrate recognized proficiency. An individual who has passed the certification exam will be designated as a Certified Business Architect® and be able to display the CBA® designation on their credentials.

CEU Program

CEUs expire every 3 years
Guild Membership and 25 earned CEUs are required to renew

The CEU program provides CBA® designated individuals with a number of options for maintaining certification. The program evolves based on the evolution of Guild and third party programs and offerings.

A single CEU credit is defined as one (1) hour of participation in a Guild recognized, event, training course, webinar or other designated program. To maintain CBA® designation, an individual having achieved CBA® status must have logged at least 25 CEU credits during a three-year period that begins upon notice of certification into the CBA® program.

The CEU program is intended to continue increasing the skills and experience of those with the CBA® designation. The majority of CEU opportunities are offered at no cost to Guild members.

Obtaining business architecture certification with the Business Architecture Guild® is a user friendly process - no attending workshops and courses that are expensive, time consuming and inconvenient. You can study on your own using our free Study Guide or with one of our Guild Accredited Training Partners®. By obtaining your certification with the Guild, you will be assured that the designation of Certified Business Architect (CBA)® is meaningful and that the exam has been vetted by practitioners and experts alike.
