Quebec Residents and the CBA® exam

Our Certified Business Architect (CBA)® examination platform, Pearson VUE has informed us that Quebec, Canada, has recently implemented Bill 96, which describes French language/localization requirements for doing business in that province. This bill requires that for any exams offered in Quebec, Pearson VUE must localize the candidate journey by providing the following in French: (a) candidate website content, (b) correspondence to candidates, including but not limited to appointment confirmation letters and receipts/invoices, and (c) exam content.

We understand the value of an in-language exam, however, we cannot, with our limited resources, support any additional languages.

Pearson VUE has indicated that exams may be taken in nearby Ottawa, Vermont, New Hampshire or New York State. Or, in any of the other 5000 testing centers across the globe. Our understanding is that if you are in Quebec, you will not be able to take the English online version, but if you are in another location, you could.
