Stephen Marshall

Roger T. Burlton

Roger is the President of Process Renewal Group and co-founder of BPTrends Associates. He is the author of the pioneering book ‘Business Process Management: Profiting from Process’ and the ‘Business Process Manifesto’, now available in 14 languages. His Business Architecture column in is available to over twenty thousand readers. Recently he developed the Business Agility manifesto in Collaboration with John Zachman and Ron Ross. He developed and delivered the first Business Process and Business Process Architecture management classes in the world in 1991, certified today by universities in North America, Europe, Australia and South America. J. Bryan Lail

J. Bryan Lail is a Business Architect Fellow at Raytheon. He works on the business strategy team, developing value stream models and capability maps to shape new ways of doing business and focusing transformation efforts. Previously he was a Chief IT Architect and Engineering lead for netcentric systems at Raytheon Missile Systems. Earlier experience included working for the U.S. Navy as a scientist. Cecilie became a co-lead for the Government (industry) Reference Model collaboration team in August, 2018. She has worked in the role of business architect since 2011, following a logical progression from business analysis. She has specialized in being a generalist, working in a variety of verticals including transportation, health insurance, automotive manufacturing, retail, and currently in financial services, from the business-side and from within information technology organizations.

Mark became a co-lead for the Government (industry) Reference Model collaboration team in January 2019. Sean Butler

Sean Butler is a certified business architect specializing in business transformation for the consulting firm Thought Ensemble. Thought Ensemble partners with clients in industries from consumer-packaged goods to insurance to help them define and achieve their business transformation visions. Prior to Thought Ensemble, Sean held roles at PepsiCo and PwC where he helped to drive successful completion of company-changing transformation projects with a focus on infrastructure separation and integrations following mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. Richard Beethe

Richard is a proud father of three daughters and one son. His youngest daughter and son will be graduating from high school and college next month!! An honored father to an Eagle Scout and a volunteer with the Scouts for 10 years. A native to Colorado, born in Durango, lives in Denver.Hiscareer has been in IT development including 30+ years with a service bureau for broker-dealers followed by 9 years with Scottrade as a development team supervisor. Rick now works as a Business Architect and Solution Architect for TD Ameritrade Clearing. He is helping to build the business architecture practice at TDA and is a member of the Financial Services Reference model team at the guild for just under one year.


Dilek Guncag

Dilek Guncag is a Senior Business Architect in Nordea Group Architecture with main focus on Commercial and Business Banking. She has 12 years of Enterprise Architecture experience in which the last 8 years has been focused heavily on business architecture in various areas like capability model design, operating model design, merger and acquisition analysis, capability roadmaps, and capability maturity assessments.

Paul came from an operational background and has also founded and run small technology companies before moving into working on software development and software implementation projects. Thomas Bata

Thomas has 30 years of financial service industry experience, of which he spent the last 15 years working working with business architecture. In the previous five years, Thomas has worked with consulting banks in the business architecture methods and techniques, customizing frameworks to fit the organization's competencies and ambitions. Hermann Schlamann

Hermann is engaged in practical development and implementation of architectures for many years. He gained his experience (40+ years) in various areas of computer science. Last 10 years of his active career he worked for a large Swiss Bank as enterprise architect, where he worked in the development and implementation of "Service oriented architectures".
